Jon Fenning has been appointed as Management Director (MD) of Aspira, taking over from David Jolley who remains as a consultant to the business.
Having joined Aspira early in 2020 as Chief Technology Officer, Jon lead the development of the disinfectant service offering and played an instrumental role in the successful application for Innovate UK grant funding.
Jon’s background spans professional services and disruptive AI SaaS tools, having built and successfully commercialised several products throughout his career. At his previous company, Jon pioneered a new SaaS product across Europe and established a value proposition in an industry that has traditionally seen a slow adoption of technology. Crucially, he also set the business in motion to scale, disrupting the traditional practice of risk mitigation for multinational organisations.
Based between London and Manchester, Jon has a large network of contacts across various industry sectors. His strong commercial skills will be important as Aspira scales from the robust foundations established by the company.
Outside professional life, Jon is an avid vintage motorsport fan. Regularly competing in events across the UK and Europe. He has also competed in a few long distance endurance events, requiring innovation, planning and a clear head at every turn in order to succeed. In this, he also supported several sustainable green initiatives across West Africa. He also has a History degree from Newcastle University.
”I’m thrilled to be part of the Aspira team, the technological development to date is cutting edge and a fantastic achievement. Aspira is now at the right point to commercialise its offering, our complete package is unrivalled in the market place and with that we will better the urban areas we live in. Organisations across the globe are struggling to grapple with their duty of care to the green agenda. We will help them to get their existing assets to positively contribute.
